Can Jieryin wash solution be used during early pregnancy?
Whether or not to use Jieeryin wash during early pregnancy should be determined based on individual circumstances. It is not recommended if there is no confirmed gynecological inflammation; however, if bacterial vaginosis, fungal (yeast) infection, or other types of vaginitis are diagnosed, it may be used under a doctor's guidance. The first trimester is a critical period for fetal development, so medication use must be especially cautious.

During early pregnancy, women experience unique changes in the vaginal environment. Hormonal fluctuations often lead to increased vaginal discharge, which is usually a normal physiological phenomenon. In the absence of symptoms such as itching or abnormal odor, using Jieeryin wash unnecessarily may disrupt the natural balance of vaginal flora, reduce local immunity, and actually increase the risk of infection.
If gynecological inflammation is confirmed through medical examination, simply cleaning with water may not adequately relieve symptoms. In such cases, Jieeryin wash may be used under a physician’s supervision. The doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and frequency based on the type of infection and gestational age. Typically, external washing is recommended, avoiding douching or internal vaginal rinsing to minimize potential effects on the fetus.
In early pregnancy, proper daily care of the external genital area is essential. Wash the vulva daily with lukewarm running water and keep the area clean and dry. Choose loose-fitting, breathable cotton underwear, change and wash them frequently, and dry them in sunlight for natural disinfection.
