Introduction
Yunnan Baiyao cannot promote the healing of pulmonary bullae. Pulmonary bullae are air-filled cavities formed by the rupture and fusion of alveolar walls in the lungs, representing a structural lesion. Yunnan Baiyao primarily functions to stop bleeding, promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and reduce swelling and pain, but it has no effect on repairing structural damage in the lungs. If symptoms such as rupture of bullae, hemoptysis, or difficulty breathing occur, prompt medical attention is recommended.

Yunnan Baiyao cannot promote the healing of pulmonary bullae. Pulmonary bullae are air-filled cavities formed by the rupture and fusion of alveolar walls in the lungs, representing a structural lesion. Yunnan Baiyao primarily functions to stop bleeding, activate blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and reduce swelling and pain; it does not have the ability to repair structural damage in lung tissue. If symptoms such as rupture of the bulla, hemoptysis (coughing up blood), or difficulty breathing occur, prompt medical attention is recommended.

Yunnan Baiyao is clinically used mainly for traumatic injuries, painful swelling due to blood stasis, and bleeding disorders. Its pharmacological effects target circulatory and tissue swelling issues and do not act on damaged alveolar walls in the lungs, nor can it reverse the structural changes caused by alveolar fusion.

Treatment of pulmonary bullae depends on their size, number, and associated symptoms. Asymptomatic cases are generally managed through observation and follow-up, while those with significant symptoms or high risk of rupture may require surgical intervention. Medications can only assist in controlling symptoms when complications such as infection or bleeding arise. Yunnan Baiyao is not a targeted treatment for pulmonary bullae and should not be relied upon to promote healing.

In daily life, avoid actions that increase intrathoracic pressure, such as severe coughing or straining during bowel movements. Quit smoking and avoid dust and irritating gases to prevent lung infections. Engage in moderate, gentle exercise to strengthen lung function, undergo regular follow-up examinations to monitor changes in the bullae, and promptly adjust care plans if any discomfort occurs.
