When freezing fresh milk for daily use, it is advisable to choose fresh products, seal them well, store them separately to avoid odor transfer, and consume within 3 months. For thawing, place the milk in the refrigerator for slow, gradual thawing and consume as soon as possible after thawing.

Generally speaking, whether frozen fresh milk can be consumed depends on its condition after freezing. However, if the milk was close to its expiration date or already showing signs of spoilage before freezing, freezing cannot eliminate harmful substances that have already formed. Additionally, improper thawing—such as leaving it at room temperature or repeatedly freezing and thawing—can lead to rapid bacterial growth, resulting in unpleasant odors, severe separation or clumping, or abnormal color changes. Consuming such milk may irritate the gastrointestinal tract, leading to nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or other discomforts. In these cases, the milk should be discarded immediately.

When freezing fresh milk at home, it is advisable to use fresh products, seal them tightly, store them separately to prevent odor transfer, and consume within three months.
