Introduction
Common skin conditions typically include eczema, urticaria (hives), and contact dermatitis. In addition to these common disorders, fungal infections—such as tinea (ringworm)—and viral infections—such as herpes—are also relatively frequent skin problems. It is recommended to maintain a balanced diet, avoid spicy and irritating foods, practice good personal hygiene, and take precautions to prevent infection.

Dermatological disorders are common conditions frequently encountered in daily life. But what specific skin problems exist?

What Are Common Skin Problems?

Common skin conditions typically include eczema, urticaria (hives), and contact dermatitis. A detailed overview follows:

1. Eczema

Eczema is generally triggered by prolonged exposure to hot, humid environments. Its clinical presentation is highly variable and often chronic. Classic symptoms include erythematous papules or papulovesicles on the skin, accompanied by pruritus (itching). Treatment may include topical medications prescribed by a physician, such as anti-dampness and anti-itch ointment, betamethasone valerate cream, or mometasone furoate cream.

2. Urticaria (Hives)

Urticaria is commonly caused by exposure to allergens. Its appearance is relatively uniform—typically presenting as erythematous macules or wheals, associated with intense itching. Lesions usually resolve spontaneously within 24 hours without leaving residual marks. Under medical guidance, patients may take antihistamines such as ephedrine–diphenhydramine tablets, cetirizine hydrochloride tablets, or fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets.

3. Contact Dermatitis

This condition commonly occurs in individuals with allergic constitutions upon exposure to allergens such as pollen, dust, or animal dander. It manifests as pruritus and erythematous rashes. Topical corticosteroids—including prednisolone acetate cream, betamethasone valerate cream, or halometasone cream—may be used under physician supervision.

In addition to the above common conditions, fungal infections (e.g., tinea) and viral infections (e.g., herpes) also represent frequent dermatological concerns. It is advisable to maintain a balanced diet, avoid spicy or irritating foods, practice good personal hygiene, and minimize infection risk.We hope this information proves helpful!
