Women with a bicornuate uterus must pay close attention during pregnancy. If abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding occurs, this may indicate threatened miscarriage; prompt medical evaluation is recommended, including blood tests for progesterone and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), followed by appropriate fetal-preserving treatment. At home, avoid strenuous physical activities—such as mopping floors or hand-washing clothes—to reduce the risk of bleeding. Consume ample fruits and vegetables to maintain regular bowel movements and prevent straining during defecation, which could trigger bleeding. Personal hygiene is also crucial during pregnancy. Due to decreased immunity, pregnant women are more susceptible to vaginal infections. Therefore, clean the external genital area daily and change undergarments daily to prevent cross-infection.
