Disease description:

This year, I recently interviewed with a company that requires a comprehensive physical examination prior to onboarding. The test results were released yesterday—everything else appears normal, except for elevated hemoglobin levels. What should I do?

Based on the description of your condition, the elevated hemoglobin level is unrelated to drinking water or nutritional excess. It is advisable to adjust your diet by reducing intake of high-quality proteins—such as fish, lean meat, eggs, and prawns—and increasing consumption of fresh fruits, vegetables, water, or soups. Maintain a regular daily routine: eat smaller, more frequent meals; avoid overeating or binge eating; take precautions against colds (e.g., dress appropriately); and engage in appropriate physical exercise to enhance your body’s immune function.
