Disease description:

I felt unwell and went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor diagnosed me with pseudocondyloma acuminatum (also known as vestibular papillomatosis). However, I have no obvious symptoms. What symptoms are associated with pseudocondyloma acuminatum?

Symptoms of pseudocondyloma acuminatum are typically discovered incidentally as small, granular papules around the urethral opening. These lesions have a relatively smooth surface and may cause mild pruritus upon touch; however, most patients remain asymptomatic. In more severe cases, pseudocondyloma acuminatum may present as pedunculated, polypoid lesions. Female patients may experience increased vaginal discharge, yellowish discharge, or foul-smelling discharge.
