My vision has been very blurry lately, as if I’ve developed myopia. After developing myopia, are there any methods to restore normal vision?

Myopia can be categorized into true myopia and pseudo-myopia. Patients are advised to visit a hospital for comprehensive ophthalmic examinations to establish an accurate diagnosis. If diagnosed with true myopia, vision decline can be alleviated through corrective measures such as wearing spectacles or contact lenses. Alternatively, refractive lens exchange (RLE) surgery—implanting an artificial intraocular lens—may be performed to restore visual function. In cases of pseudo-myopia, it is essential to actively correct unhealthy visual habits. This includes avoiding prolonged use of electronic devices (e.g., smartphones, computers, and televisions) and refraining from extended visual tasks in excessively dim or overly bright environments. Preventing ocular fatigue in this manner helps improve symptoms of pseudo-myopia.
