What are the symptoms of neuritis?
Disease description:
Recently, my toes have been frequently numb, and I suspect I might have neuritis. I’d like to know what symptoms neuritis presents.
Neuritis caused solely by exposure to cold or local compression typically presents with symptoms such as numbness in the fingers and toes. In contrast, immune-mediated neuritis—such as that triggered by infection or inflammation—may produce more severe manifestations, including symmetrical numbness and weakness in all four limbs. Patients may also experience difficulty walking and impaired upper-limb function.
