What Are the Symptoms of Mental Illness?
Disease description:
I often experience emotional instability and fly into unexplained tantrums. My husband even calls me “mentally ill.” What are the symptoms of mental illness?
In clinical practice, “psychosis” primarily refers to mental disorders, which manifest with a wide range of symptoms. These may include persistent feelings of sadness or depression, and marked emotional lability. Cognitive symptoms such as disorganized thinking or hyperfocus may also occur. Some individuals experience intense fear or excessive worry; in severe cases, suicidal ideation may arise, alongside fatigue, diminished energy, delusions, or hallucinations.
