Premature graying of hair may be caused by genetic factors or endocrine disorders. If many family members—such as one’s parents—experienced premature graying at a young age, this trait may be inherited by their children. Conversely, chronic sleep deprivation and an irregular lifestyle can disrupt normal metabolism, leading to endocrine imbalance. This, in turn, reduces the production of pigment granules in hair follicles, resulting in premature graying.
