How Do I Know When I’m Ovulating?
Disease description:
I am currently actively trying to conceive. My doctor mentioned that the chances of pregnancy are higher if intercourse occurs during the ovulation period. How can I tell when I am ovulating?
To determine whether you are ovulating, observe your vaginal discharge around 14 days before your expected menstrual period. During ovulation, estrogen levels rise, leading to an increase in vaginal discharge—typically clear and stretchy (resembling egg whites). Alternatively, you can use ovulation predictor kits (OPKs); a positive test result indicates that you are in your fertile (ovulatory) window.
