Women carrying twins may experience the following symptoms:
First, during early pregnancy, elevated levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) associated with twin gestation often lead to more severe nausea and vomiting compared to singleton pregnancies.
Second, the uterus enlarges more rapidly in twin pregnancies, and at the same gestational age, the abdominal size is noticeably larger than in singleton pregnancies.
Third, the growing uterine size in twin pregnancies may compress the bladder, resulting in increased urinary frequency.
