What are the symptoms of dyshidrotic eczema?
Disease description:
I’m 25 years old this year, and I’ve suddenly developed numerous rashes on my body—sometimes accompanied by mild itching. I suspect it might be dyshidrotic eczema and would like to know its symptoms.
For dyshidrotic eczema, the skin lesions typically manifest as small vesicles located deep within the epidermis—usually rice-grain-sized, hemispherical, and slightly elevated above the skin surface. Lesions commonly occur on the palms, lateral aspects of the fingers, fingertips, and dorsum of the hands, often in a symmetrical distribution. Additionally, patients may experience pruritus (itching) and a burning sensation. In daily life, patients should maintain a balanced diet and avoid spicy foods to prevent symptom exacerbation.
