What are the symptoms of dyshidrotic eczema?
Disease description:
I have developed herpes-like lesions and blisters on my skin, accompanied by intense itching. After visiting the hospital for an examination, I was diagnosed with dyshidrotic eczema. What are the symptoms of dyshidrotic eczema?
The primary symptoms of dyshidrotic eczema include intensely itchy vesicles, commonly affecting the hands and feet. Characteristic skin lesions manifest as small, symmetrical vesicles, often accompanied by varying degrees of pruritus, stinging, or burning sensations. In severe cases, larger bullae may develop; these vesicles occur in the deeper layers of the skin, typically without inflammatory reaction. They usually do not rupture spontaneously but instead resolve gradually through natural absorption. After drying, scaling occurs, followed by the formation of new skin—during this phase, pain may be experienced.
