Can I drive if I have lumbar disc herniation and experience leg fatigue?
Disease description:
Lumbar disc herniation can cause leg fatigue and impair the ability to drive. Numbness in the legs is directly caused by impaired blood circulation; prolonged impairment leads to insufficient oxygen supply to body cells, and when blood flow resumes, some nerves may swell. To better alleviate leg numbness, patients may consume iron-rich foods, such as spinach, other vegetables and fruits (which contain relatively high levels of iron), chicken liver, pork blood, lean pork, nori (rich in iodine), black sesame paste, wood ear mushrooms, brown sugar (to nourish the blood), and asparagus lettuce. Additionally, individuals with lumbar disc herniation should minimize prolonged sitting, maximize bed rest, and avoid physical labor.
