Dr. Lin Yunfei
Pain in the lateral bony area of the groin may stem from several causes: First, lumbar disc herniation compressing the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, leading to localized pain. Second, synovitis or ligament injury in the groin joint can also cause pain. Third, local vascular disorders may contribute to the pain. For pain in the lateral bony region of the groin, adequate rest is essential; prolonged walking or weight-bearing activities should be avoided. If pain is pronounced, prompt medical evaluation and targeted treatment are recommended.
