Disease description:

The child has had a runny nose for three to four days. The child’s older sister suggested giving them Children’s Paracetamol, Chlorphenamine, and Artificial Cow-Bezoar Granules. I’d like to know whether it is appropriate to administer this medication to an infant with a runny nose.

Generally acceptable. The symptoms described above in infants are typically caused by common viral infections. The aforementioned medications can alleviate symptoms associated with the common cold, such as fever, headache, nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, and sore throat. During medication use, patients should drink adequate amounts of water to enhance metabolism and maintain moisture of the respiratory mucosa. Indoor humidity should be maintained to prevent dry air.
