What Causes Menstrual Cramps in Women?
Disease description:
I’m not sure what’s causing it, but I always suffer from dysmenorrhea. I don’t even eat ice cream regularly—what causes menstrual cramps in women?
Dysmenorrhea can be caused by cervical stenosis, uterine hypoplasia, and other conditions. In some patients with cervical stenosis, the narrowed cervical canal impedes menstrual blood flow, leading to blood stagnation and resulting in discomfort and dysmenorrhea. Additionally, uterine hypoplasia may cause uterine hypoxia and insufficient blood supply during menstruation, triggering abnormal uterine contractions and thereby causing dysmenorrhea.
