Side Effects of Angelica dahurica (Bai Zhi):
Excessive use of Angelica dahurica may overstimulate the central nervous system, leading to symptoms such as increased respiratory depth and vomiting. In severe cases, it may cause muscle spasms or generalized paralysis; therefore, overdose must be avoided. Additionally, patients with yin deficiency and blood heat may experience exacerbation of their symptoms upon using Angelica dahurica.
