What to Do for a Closed Soft Tissue Injury
Disease description:
I have been diagnosed with a closed soft tissue injury, but I’m unsure how to treat it. What should I do?
Patients with closed soft tissue injuries can improve through bed rest or find relief via ice application. Additionally, under a physician’s guidance, appropriate use of blood-activating and stasis-resolving medications or microwave physical therapy may be employed for symptom relief. In cases of relatively severe injury, minimally invasive surgical repair may be considered.
