Pseudocondyloma typically does not resolve spontaneously. Although pseudocondyloma is non-contagious, it can arise from various causes—such as chronic inflammation, prolonged irritation by vaginal secretions, or inadequate cleansing of the external genitalia. If no local discomfort is present, treatment may not be necessary; maintaining good local hygiene in daily life is usually sufficient. However, if local discomfort occurs, medical evaluation at a hospital is recommended to identify and address the underlying cause.
