What are the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis?
Disease description:
I am 39 years old. Recently, I suddenly developed aching and fatigue in my lower limbs, sometimes accompanied by pain. I suspect it might be rheumatoid arthritis and would like to know what symptoms rheumatoid arthritis typically presents.
In early-stage rheumatoid arthritis, patients typically experience joint stiffness and joint pain. In more severe cases, joint swelling and tenderness may also occur. In the late stage of the disease, joint deformities and functional impairment develop—symptoms that are generally irreversible with pharmacological treatment alone. During arthritis flares, patients should rest adequately to prevent impaired blood circulation and thereby slow disease progression.
