Iritis and sacroiliitis are not necessarily ankylosing spondylitis. Sacroiliitis may be caused by ankylosing spondylitis or by localized factors due to other reasons. Further evaluation for ankylosing spondylitis, including HLA-B27 testing, is recommended. Iritis is associated with ankylosing spondylitis and the latter is a common cause of iritis. Patients are advised to seek examination and treatment at a正规 hospital.
