Where is the most obvious difference in symptoms between carpal tunnel syndrome and vasculitis?
Disease description:
My father was recently diagnosed with vasculitis, but the day before yesterday, someone mentioned that his condition resembles carpal tunnel syndrome. I'd like to know the most obvious differences in symptoms between carpal tunnel syndrome and vasculitis.
There is a significant difference between Mondor's disease and vasculitis. Although both are vascular inflammatory conditions, Mondor's disease has distinct and typical characteristics—it commonly affects younger male smokers. In contrast, vasculitis occurs more frequently in females. Vasculitis falls within the scope of rheumatology and immunology and may involve blood vessels throughout the body. Different types of vasculitis affect vessels with varying characteristics, and these diseases are primarily defined by inflammatory lesions of the blood vessels.
