Can I apply medicated oil for skin allergies?
Disease description:
I have sensitive skin and allergies, but recently there are so many mosquitoes. I want to apply some medicated oil (e.g., Feng You Jing), but I'm not sure if it's safe to use. So, may I ask: can people with allergic skin use medicated oil?
It is best not to use medicated oil during skin allergies, as the irritants in medicated oil may worsen skin sensitivity. If the rash is caused by mosquito bites, medicated oil can be applied locally. However, for more sensitive cases, it is recommended to use topical medications with less irritation. Oral administration of glycyrrhizin, intravenous vitamin C, and calcium gluconate may also be considered.
