If one neglects hygiene in the buttock area or sits for prolonged periods, poor local ventilation may occur, leading to follicular inflammation and resulting in itching. In individuals with an allergic constitution, contact with irritating substances such as synthetic fiber clothing may trigger allergic dermatitis, causing this symptom.
