Right foot pain may be caused by aseptic inflammation of the plantar fascia, or it could result from deformities or joint injuries. Prolonged walking or wearing improper footwear can lead to wear on the sole and strain the fascia, subsequently triggering plantar fasciitis, causing pain and discomfort in the sole of the foot. Injuries or inflammatory changes in the foot joints can also lead to foot pain. For example, degenerative changes in the tarsal joints may result in osteoarthritis, while contusions can cause joint dislocation and pain.
