Doctor's answer (1)
Dr. Lin Yunfei
It is generally caused by strain, infection, or other factors. Excessive fatigue and prolonged cold exposure to the knee joint can stimulate the synovial membrane, leading to aseptic inflammation and eventually resulting in synovitis, with gradually increasing fluid accumulation within the knee. After diagnosis, symptomatic treatment should include medications that nourish cartilage and reduce inflammation and pain. Conditions such as knee osteoarthritis, gouty arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis can cause synovial inflammation and joint effusion; aseptic inflammatory reactions stimulate the synovium, increasing its secretion of synovial fluid. Timely examination and treatment are recommended.
