Ganglion cysts in the wrist can affect the fingers. When the cyst is relatively large, it may compress the extensor tendons passing through the wrist area, causing significant pain during movement of the wrist and fingers. If the cyst is small, conservative treatment can be adopted: applying manual pressure to rupture the cyst, allowing the fluid to be gradually absorbed on its own. If the cyst is large, aspiration (fluid withdrawal via needle puncture) combined with compression bandaging can be used to improve the condition.
