Arthritis does not cause liver palms. There is no association between arthritis and liver palms. Liver palms, commonly known as "cinnabar palms," are mainly characterized by pinkish spots and patches on the thenar and hypothenar eminences of both hands, fingertips, and palm surfaces. When estrogen accumulates in the body, it stimulates capillary congestion and dilation, which over time leads to the formation of liver palms. If you experience any physical discomfort, seek medical diagnosis promptly to prevent worsening of the condition.
