Recently, after meals I've been experiencing bloating along with acid reflux. After a thorough medical examination at the hospital, the doctor diagnosed me with superficial chronic gastritis. What are the symptoms of superficial chronic gastritis?
Symptoms of superficial chronic gastritis include upper abdominal pain, bloating, postprandial fullness and early satiety, loss of appetite, nausea, acid reflux, and belching. Some individuals may also experience weight loss, general weakness, pallor, dizziness, and depression. Superficial chronic gastritis may be caused by Helicobacter pylori infection, or result from long-term alcohol consumption or poor dietary habits.
