Superficial chronic gastritis with H. pylori positivity typically refers to Helicobacter pylori infection identified through histopathological examination of gastric mucosal tissue, and this infection has already caused chronic superficial gastritis. Treatment for this condition usually involves the following approaches:

1. Triple therapy: This is a commonly used treatment regimen, typically consisting of omeprazole 20 mg twice daily, amoxicillin three capsules three times daily, and metronidazole or tinidazole one tablet three times daily.

2. Quadruple therapy: In some cases, quadruple therapy may be employed for bacterial eradication in order to ensure higher treatment efficacy. The usual duration of treatment is 10–14 days, and after completion, the eradication effect should be evaluated using methods such as breath tests or serological testing.

During treatment, patients should avoid smoking and alcohol consumption, reduce intake of spicy and irritating foods, and consume less starchy foods such as potatoes, taro, and vermicelli. Maintaining good dietary habits and lifestyle practices can aid in the recovery from gastritis and help prevent recurrence. For symptomatic patients, appropriate use of antacids or gastric mucosal protectants may be employed to alleviate symptoms.
