Can third-degree tonsillar enlargement be cured?
Disease description:
I've been having throat pain lately, and after a hospital examination, I learned it was caused by third-degree tonsillar enlargement. Can third-degree tonsillar enlargement be cured?
Tonsil enlargement of degree three is generally treatable. With proper medical treatment and attention to diet during the course of the illness, recovery is usually achievable. If the condition is severe, presenting symptoms such as difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, or a foreign body sensation in the throat, surgical removal of the tonsils at a hospital may be necessary. Additionally, when suffering from degree three tonsil enlargement, the diet should be light; spicy, stimulating, and greasy foods should be avoided.
