Can tenosynovitis cause bone marrow edema?
Disease description:
I've had tenosynovitis for a while, and recently I've been feeling constant pain at the affected site. I suspect it might be bone edema—can tenosynovitis cause bone edema?
Tenosynovitis generally does not cause bone marrow edema. Tenosynovitis is a condition primarily caused by inflammation of the tendon sheath. When it occurs, symptoms may include local pain or tenderness, swelling, redness, restricted joint movement, and trigger finger. Some individuals may also experience systemic symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, high fever, and chills.
