What are the symptoms of blocked blood vessels in the lower leg?
Disease description:
Recently, I've been feeling numbness in my legs and some swelling. I'm not sure if it's due to blocked blood vessels. I'd like to know what symptoms are associated with blocked blood vessels in the lower leg.
Leg vascular blockage can be divided into venous and arterial blockage. If it is a venous blockage, superficial cases may lead to varicose veins in the lower leg, along with symptoms such as pigmentation and ulceration. Deep venous blockage typically causes pitting edema upon pressure, or symptoms like numbness and pain in the lower leg. Additionally, arterial blockage may result in insufficient blood supply, leading to sensations of coldness, numbness, pain, difficulty walking, and muscle weakness.
