How to treat posterior cerebral vascular occlusion
Disease description:
My husband suddenly collapsed while at work. After going to the hospital, he was diagnosed with a blockage in the posterior cerebral blood vessels. How is a blockage in the posterior cerebral blood vessels treated?
If there is a blockage in the posterior cerebral blood vessels and the condition is not particularly severe, treatment should involve taking medications such as warfarin and aspirin under a doctor's guidance. If conditions permit, stent placement surgery may also be an option. If nerve damage has already occurred, additional medications such as mecobalamin tablets and vitamin B1 tablets should be taken concurrently.
