How to treat pseudogenital warts
Disease description:
Last night I suddenly noticed small, egg-like bumps on my external genital area. I searched online and found that it might be a condition called pseudovesicular papules (pseudowarts). How should this be treated?
When suffering from pseudovesicular lesions (pseudofolliculitis), targeted treatment should be selected based on the specific severity of the patient's condition:
1. If symptoms of pseudovesicular lesions are relatively mild or no other adverse symptoms are present, treatment is usually not necessary as the condition may resolve spontaneously over time; regular follow-up examinations are sufficient.
2. If symptoms are more severe, such as persistent raised bumps or granules, treatment under a doctor's guidance using physical therapies such as laser therapy, cryotherapy, or electrocautery is typically recommended.
