Can people with arrhythmia eat fried foods?
Disease description:
I am an arrhythmia patient, and recently I've been craving fried foods. Can people with arrhythmia eat fried food?
Patients with arrhythmia should generally avoid fried foods, as these contain a relatively high amount of vegetable oil which may lead to increased cholesterol and elevated blood lipids after consumption, potentially worsening arrhythmia symptoms. During episodes of arrhythmia, it is typically recommended to avoid fried foods, cigarettes, strong alcohol, concentrated coffee, and strong tea.
