Clinical manifestations of fatty liver of pregnancy
Disease description:
I am currently pregnant and have noticed some yellowing of my skin. I've heard this might be related to fatty liver of pregnancy. What are the clinical manifestations of fatty liver in pregnancy?
The clinical manifestations of acute fatty liver of pregnancy include jaundice, coagulation disorders, and liver failure occurring in the late stages of pregnancy, along with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. Acute fatty liver of pregnancy usually results from excessive eating and insufficient physical activity during pregnancy, leading to excessive weight gain. Patients may take ammonium glycyrrhizinate tablets orally as directed by a physician.
