What should I do for glaucoma with high intraocular pressure and fundus arteriosclerosis?
Disease description:
I've been undergoing treatment for glaucoma recently. During a follow-up examination yesterday, the report showed high intraocular pressure and hardening of the retinal arteries. I don't understand how this could happen despite consistently taking my medication. What should I do about high eye pressure and retinal artery sclerosis in glaucoma?
Glaucoma with high intraocular pressure and fundus arterial sclerosis can generally be treated with medication. Fundus arterial sclerosis is a systemic vascular lesion caused by hypertension. If necessary, lipid-regulating and anticoagulant medications may be used. During drug treatment, it is important to maintain moderation, follow a regular lifestyle, exercise regularly, stay positive and optimistic, and avoid excessive stress.
