Trachoma is generally treated by trained medical personnel who first apply local anesthesia to the eye, then use a sterilized syringe to individually tear open existing trachomatous follicles and effectively remove internal residues, restoring the eye surface to a smooth condition. At the same time, the eye should be rested adequately. With proper treatment and rest, the eye can gradually recover and achieve complete cure of trachoma.
