How many days after conception can the embryo enter the uterus?
Disease description:
I've been trying to conceive. Yesterday was my ovulation day. When will the fertilized egg enter the uterus, and how many days after conception does it implant in the uterus?
It takes about 6 to 7 days for the fertilized egg to reach the uterus. After ovulation, the egg is picked up by the fimbriae of the fallopian tube and transported through the fallopian tube via muscular contractions, where it meets sperm and forms a zygote. This zygote then travels to the uterine cavity and implants approximately 6 to 7 days later. However, clinically, the earliest time at which a gestational sac can be observed in the uterine cavity via transvaginal ultrasound is around day 35 of pregnancy. In early pregnancy, women should rest adequately, abstain from sexual intercourse, and avoid excessive fatigue.
