Dr. Jin Zhongkui
Gallbladder sludge stones can be expelled through medication. Under a doctor's guidance, patients may take ursodeoxycholic acid to help eliminate the stones. Typically, the medication should be taken for about two months, after which an upper abdominal ultrasound should be repeated to assess whether the gallbladder sludge stones have decreased. If no reduction is observed, the treatment can be continued. If the medication proves ineffective, surgical removal may be considered as an alternative treatment option.
