Recently, I took my son to the hospital and noticed many children diagnosed with cerebral palsy. I would like to know at what age can cerebral palsy in young children be detected?

In general, cerebral palsy in infants can be detected at around one month of age. In mild cases, developmental delays in motor skills such as head control and crawling may become apparent compared to peers. As the condition progresses, symptoms such as limb flaccidity and feeding difficulties may also occur. If delayed development of the brain and nervous system becomes evident later, it usually takes about one year after birth before these signs are gradually recognized.
