The causes of osteosarcoma may include the following factors. First, long-term exposure to high levels of radiation in the workplace may lead to osteosarcoma due to prolonged radiation exposure. Second, individuals who have hereditary retinoblastoma or congenital dysplastic vascular atrophy with poikiloderma may also be at risk of developing this condition.
