For infants with eczema (milk rash), it is important to maintain skin cleanliness in daily care. Use plain water to clean the baby's skin whenever possible, avoiding excessively hot water or harsh cleansing products. Also, prevent the baby from scratching the affected areas. Breastfeeding should be continued if possible; mothers should avoid consuming spicy, irritating, or allergenic foods such as chili peppers, seafood, beef, and mutton. If formula feeding is necessary, consider using a highly hydrolyzed formula. When needed, topical treatments such as corticosteroid or antiallergic creams may be applied under medical guidance, for example, desonide cream or dexamethasone acetate ointment, to help improve symptoms.
