Frequent blinking and dry eyes are not symptoms of excessive liver fire. Dry eye syndrome is mostly caused by yin deficiency of the liver and kidneys. Treatment primarily focuses on nourishing yin and promoting body fluid production. Moisturizing herbs such as mint and mulberry leaf can also be used for local warm compresses.
