Disease description:

During the summer, it was too hot, so I kept using the air conditioner, which led to various body pains. After going to the hospital, I was diagnosed with hip joint synovitis. I would like to ask, is hip joint synovitis related to getting chilled?

Hip joint synovitis is not related to cold exposure. However, certain aseptic inflammatory conditions may be somewhat associated with cold. If the patient's buttocks are exposed to cold, it may exacerbate exudation in the hip joint synovium, intensify local inflammatory changes of the synovium, increase pain in the buttock area, cause redness, swelling, and positive tenderness in the local skin, thereby limiting the range of motion of the hip joint.
