What are the symptoms of hip synovitis?

The most common symptoms of hip synovitis include pain, restricted movement, and local soft tissue swelling. It is usually caused by autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid diseases, but can also result from various factors including excessive exercise and reactive synovial hyperplasia. As the condition progresses, discomfort develops into pain—initially presenting as a dull ache, later turning into sharp pain that persists even after rest. The pain may worsen at night or during physical activity.
